It's a hilarious and heartwarming show that will keep you entertained from beginning to end. But don't take our word for it! Watch the first episode and decide for yourself. Uncle from Another World Plot

    After an accident, Takafumi Takaoka's uncle, Yousuke Shibazaki, goes into a coma for the next 17 years. When he awakens, he starts babbling in some foreign tongue and says he was taken to a magical world called Gran Bahamal. Takafumi initially dismisses his uncle's claims as ridiculous, but then his uncle performs a magic that makes a cup of water float in the air. The two of them had an epiphany and decided to start a YouTube channel to showcase supernatural skills. Using what they've learned from Ojisan's travels, they develop their YouTube channel and interact with commenters and trolls. Together, this uncle and nephew are embarking on a journey that is unlikely to be normal. Even though it's a comedy, Uncle from Another World is also surprisingly heartwarming. The characters are all very likable. 

Uncle from Another World Characters

    The characters in the story are mostly from our world, even though there are people from the isekai world. Takafumi has some issues with the way his uncle lives his life, but despite those concerns, he is a good kid. The strong sense of family that exists there is impossible to match. Most of the humor is derived from how Ojisan deals with situations, both in the isekai world and in modern life. As a result of the fact that his entire persona is based on the archetype of the otaku, he responds to the majority of situations in a manner that is somewhat crude and ruthless but rational. Apart from his love for games, he knows nothing about social or romantic matters.

Animation

    For a show that was produced in the year 2022, the art style is one of the most disappointing aspects of this show. On the other hand, it is one of a kind, and it not only resembles but also exactly replicates how it appears in the manga. I don't mind if a show chooses a different visual style because it doesn't necessarily mean that the show's visuals are bad.

Sound

    The sound is completely pure and well-made. There is nothing remarkable about it, but there is also nothing wrong with it. In a rare twist, I actually liked the opening more than the ending. The voice actors did an outstanding job. While not revolutionary, this is an intriguing development.

Is Uncle from Another World Worth Watching?

    This anime is hilarious, and it's one of those rare gems that will make you feel good all the way through. The characters are quirky and lovable, and the story is full of heartwarming moments. Even though the premise may sound a little bit strange, trust me when I say that it's totally worth watching. This show's themes are universal and will speak to everyone who watches it. So is Uncle from Another World worth watching? Absolutely. The jokes are really funny, and the characters are really endearing. So if you're looking for a feel-good anime that will make you laugh your ass off, then Uncle from Another World is definitely worth watching.

    It's mostly a slice-of-life comedy, but some Isekai elements are thrown in there too. The jokes will make sense to you if you watch anime and play video games. There are references to actual video games and anime, particularly material from the late 1990s. Many cultural references are made, mostly to games or events from Japan's history. I highly recommend this show to any fans of isekai and/or comedy.
