So Kamisama Kiss is a bit of a romantic comedy, and it follows the story of Nanami Momozono, a girl who's just been left homeless after her father skips town. Ririchiyo, who has difficulty making new friends, soon discovers that the Maison de Ayakashi is home to a variety of strange and unusual creatures. Everyone who lives there half-human. However, this is only the beginning of her problems, as her life is complicated further when a handsome, quiet, and extremely clingy secret agent, Soushi Miketsukami, moves in with her.

Kinjirou Sakamachi grew up in a household where women were obsessed with wrestling. This inspired him to build a strong body while also developing an irrational fear of women.
