In the well-known anime series ItaKiss, Kotoko Aihara confesses her feelings for Naoki Irie, but he turns her down because he does not like her. Her home was destroyed by an earthquake, but as luck would have it, she ended up moving in with the son of his father's childhood best friend, who turned out to be Naoki. It looks like fate had other plans for her, and now she has new hope.
9. Lovely Complex
Atsushi Ootani is a short man, while Risa Koizumi is a very tall girl. They can't seem to get along and are constantly arguing. Everyone at school recognizes them as Hanshin-Kyojin (very famous in Japan, two comedians with a height difference). Risa finds herself liking the tall new student Suzuki after seeing him. 10. Toradora!
Imagine the fun that could be had if two weirdos banded together to pursue romantic interests in their best friend. However, this is precisely the predicament in which Ryuuji and Taiga find themselves. The fact that they happened to be in the same place at the same time was pure coincidence. Ryuuji discovered Taiga has a crush on his best friend, and Taiga discovered Ryuuji has a crush on her best friend. Because of the mutual responsibility for the ensuing chaos, the two sides will find themselves much closer than anyone else.
11. My Little Monster
The anime's main characters are Shizuku Mizutani, a high school student with an emotionless structure who has few friends and social life, focusing solely on her studies and career, and Haru Yoshida, a decadent student who sits next to Shizuku in class but rarely goes to school. Shizuku gives Yoshida her class notes one day at her teacher's request. Haru, who was suspended for fighting, reveals himself to be a friendly, intelligent person who struggles to express his emotions.
12. Shugo Chara!
Amu Hinamori is the coolest girl at Seiyo Elementary, according to everyone in her school. But she's not like that at all. She is a shy girl who wishes she had the courage to be sincere.
