Loid Forger, aka Twilight, is rumored to be a skilled spy. Beginning a family has proven to be the most challenging assignment ever. They gave him the responsibility of mending relations between nations in Europe at the height of the Cold War. To accomplish this goal, Loid must infiltrate the higher levels of society and conduct surveillance on the leader of a political party. The successful completion of his mission will require him to take in and bring up a child of his own. As if that were not difficult enough, he has to enroll the child in the same prestigious institution as the leader's child, which is a challenge in and of itself. Anya, a young girl who is only six years old, is quickly adopted by him. Shortly after that, he weds Yor, a civil servant who, like himself, needed a sham spouse to keep her true identity as an assassin from being discovered by the secret police. Yor was also in need of a sham spouse. This slice of life about a found family is fascinating because each family member has something they are keeping a secret from the others.
The comedy Spy X Family is at its funniest when it focuses on the various cast members and their relationships. I like how, in contrast to other stories, there is no mystery surrounding any of these characters. From the beginning, we have had complete clarity regarding their identities and the motivations behind their actions. One of the many things that, in my opinion, contribute to this anime's extraordinary quality is the fact that it reveals everything to its viewers. You won't spend the entire show focused on Anya. The anime isn't solely focused on Anya doing the right thing; sure, she's the main character, but so are Loid and Yor. Assume Anya is in charge of the show's comedic tone. Her cheerful demeanor and actions are a joy to observe. However, some of the scenes dragged on a bit too long.
Listening to the show is a beautiful experience for me because it features excellent voice acting, sound effects, background music, and the show's theme song. Respectfully adapting a best-selling manga is why I adore Wit and Cloverworks. This show is great for fans of the shounen genre who are interested in seeing a new take on the genre with older main characters, strong chemistry between the cast, and an easy-to-follow plot. I do not recall any project with a cast of voice actors of a higher caliber than this one. It's almost as if these characters were developed with the target demographic in mind the whole time. It has all the makings of a good anime up to this point. Very funny and exciting, as well as entertaining and humorous.
The audio and visuals are both of the highest quality, and the story seems to follow all the proper steps. The person or people responsible for the art direction should be commended for a job well done. mainly because they draw attention to some of the most incredible nuances in every scene. The expert animation is a major factor in the overall high quality of the production. It's got that something special, the cast fits right in, and you can use it for any kind of scene.
