Review
Although there are many sports anime, very few are about car racing. Almost all the famous sports animes are about basketball or volleyball, although of course, the number of followers of these sports areas is high in the world, many people love car races.
Capeta, made in 2005, is one of the best animes in this field. This anime, made by Studio Comet, is unfortunately not very well known, but its fans love it. I watched Capeta a few years ago, and it only took me two days to finish the whole thing because this masterpiece keeps you hooked.
The racing scenes are well drawn, and the character development is very good. While watching Capeta grow up, you can see yourself as a part of the story and experience this adventure with him. One of the best things about the story is that it gives you a very good view of how the characters age.
I would also like to mention that the opening scenes are very well designed and add color to the anime. One of the best things about this anime is the more emphasis on the story rather than fan service. Clichés and common elements are absent here.
The drawings may seem bad compared to current animes, but you should remember that this anime is from 2005. Therefore, if you don't want to watch because of the drawings, you will see the drawings improve after you watch a few episodes.
I would like to mention the sound quality because it did a great job for the time it was made. While watching, you can immerse yourself in the excitement of the races.
If you like sports animes and cars, if you are tired of ordinary cliché animes and want to watch a quality production, then Capeta is a great choice for you.
